what kind of tube is everyone using to connect the gun to the pack? all i know is that it needs to be roughly 3/4 inch.
Use 3/4" split-loom tubing. You can pick it up at most auto parts stores or at (shudder) Radio Shack. Radio Shack sells it in 5-foot lengths for about $6 and I forget the exact price the auto parts store quoted me, but I think it was a little cheaper. Also, their employees tend to know what they’re talking about.
Exact quote from my recent visit to Radio Shack in search of this very part:
Radar: I’m looking for some 3/4" outside diameter split tubing.
Salesman: I have no idea what you’re talking about.

Radio Shack’s motto is (was?) “You’ve got questions, we’ve got answers.” This store’s motto should be “You’ve got questions, you’re on your own.”
Radio shack, they are called “The Source” here in Canada, the source for what I’m not sure because every time I go in to get something they never have it!
Often times I’m in there I end up showing their customers where stuff is :lol:
The radio shack here in town’s terrible, too. Half the employees are guys that were supposed to be in my graduating class but dropped out in 10th grade and now they’re supposed electronics experts.
It reminds me of that Mad TV skit that made fun of them.. “You’ve got questions.. we’re starting to get some, too.”
Oh yeah.. and get that tubing from an auto parts store.. it really is cheaper and they always have tons of it.
