Does anyone have a part’s list for using Norm’s plans? I wanted to get a list together before going to the hardware store. Thanks!
Nothing personal but most people on this forum find it rude when people asked us to hold their hand and spoon feed them the very basics… Norm’s plans are free on this site and since you plan on using them, download them, print them out and while you are reading them over (always a good idea to read instructions first) write down a list of parts you need… Presto you will then have an overview of the building process and also a list of parts…
I wasn’t trying to be rude. In doing some searching I came across this post, and it mentions a parts list.
It seemed as though there was a list somewhere, and I thought I would ask if anyone had it as there doesn’t seem to be a list on the plans page.
Download the ZIP file of his plans. There should be a (somewhat incomplete) parts list in .doc format.
I think there is actually a basic parts list on his plans. At least there was on a previous version.
Have a quick read through and I’m sure you’ll find them.
It might also be a good idea to have a look through some of the posts here of in progress Packs, you’ll see the materials vary from wood, to plastic, to card in some cases.
It’s well worth considering what’s best for you.
If you don’t have access to power tools then wood, MDF, or Ply or something else might be out of the question.
