Does somebody have the exact measurements for the placements of the patches?
The uniforms section of the website has some excellent reference material regarding the placement of the patches.
As a general rule of the thumb, the “no-ghosts” patch sits about 3-4" below the shoulder seam on your right arm. The name patch (2’ x 4") is sewn next to the left chest pocket of the flight suit, about 3" from the collar. Before you sew it on, pin it in place to make sure it’s where you want it.
NOTE: If doing a GB2 flight suit (khaki or charcoal grey), then the name patch slightly overlaps the left chest pocket seam.

There are no exact measurements. It varied from suit to suit even on the screen-used costumes depending on the cut of the suit, the size of the actor, and who happened to attach it.
The suits most people use don’t have the same seams or tailoring and most of us aren’t the exact same size as the original actors, so there would be no real reference point to base measurements on even if there were some.
Look at the original suits, become familiar with the placement, then eyeball it in front of a mirror. Tack it with some pins, check it against your reference, adjust, and sew it on when you’re happy.

I put mine about halfway between the elbow pad and shoulder seam.
As Jairus said, wear the suit and elbow pad, pin it in place (get someone to help you if possible), and check it in the mirror before sewing.
Andy - remember that the nametag patch is almost right on the zipper! Pretty much about as close as you can make it, and then back off a centimeter or two.

But be careful with this because of what suit you buy. If its a rothco, the chest pockets are too low and if you follow this guide line, so will your name tag.
Oh - I meant the center zipper, not the ones on the pockets. My mistake for not specifying! Thanks burkit.
