Hi all,
just wondered what you use for a case to keep your PKE meter in on your belt?
Any ideas what they used in the films?

From what I’ve seen I think it’s a similar clip of that used on the end of the proton gun.
There isn’t anything, as far as anyone knows. The only times we ever saw the PKE, it was already in their hands. There was no visible clip on the PKE, or on the belt. If you need to put it somewhere, the flightsuits chest pockets should be more than large enough to accommodate it.
Chris
Id think that would look a little odd though…just this..BULGE on your chest.
leg pockets…
We have pockets on the shoulders of our uniforms that it fits perfectly into, so that’s what we’ve been using.
Or, put it in your front lab coat pocket like Venkman. Look closely:

After discussing this with Dr. Higgins I think a Covertec clip would be ideal. You could screw the knobbly bit to the handle (so you cover it with your hand when holding it), and then it will clip on your belt securely when not in use.
Gah! It looks like the PKE’s ready to fall out
I would clip/fasten/hang it on the side of the ALICE frame. You know, on the wide part at the bottom where the kidney straps go… I think that’s where Egon kept the sound decible meter, he used during the battle with Vigo. Atleast that’s what it looks like to me and if it’s not, I still like the idea of storing extra equipment there.

Oh, and if you look at the scene in GB2 when they’re standing in front of ECTO-1A after they failed to break through the slime wall. Ray has the same sound meter hanging from one of the clips on his belt. So I suppose that would be acceptable for the PKE as well… I don’t know. Maybe? :? ![]()
