Post true ghost/creepy stories...

In 2000 I bought my first hearse. Since then I’ve owned 8. Currently I own 2 hearses and 4 caskets including one child casket and one adult that was actually used by a gang member (during the funeral, members of a rival gang came in and set fire to his corpse so they ended up cremating him, but since the first casket was steel they sold it to me cheap) Also the bedroom I sleep in belonged to a woman that died of cancer here after years of illness…and I havent seen a Goddamned thing.

wow sorry to hear about, it almost makes me give a damn…almost.

All these Ghostbusters and no one has any ghost stories?! Thats amazing to me.

On a less popular forum we have a 60 page thread about this exact subject.

I wish I had a paranormal experience to share with you. Unfortunately, it seems like the ■■■■■■■■ stuff only happens to non-believers who least expect it. That being said, I did have something weird happen to me a couple months ago when my grandpa passed away. The morning of his death, I was awakened when, in my dreams, a raven-like bird suddenly attacked me, flying straight toward the area between my neck, right shoulder, and collar bone. At the moment of impact, I felt a very intense, sharp physical pain - like a sort of muscular spasm - in that spot. This sensation (which was real) jolted me awake, and instantly faded away. A couple hours later, my dad called to tell me my dying grandfather had finally passed away. I tried to later find out exactly when he died, and although I couldn’t get a precise time, it seems as though his death and my sensation did not occur simultaneously. They did however occur roughly within an hour of eachother.

I’m inclined to pass it off as coincidence because; the events did not occur simultaneously, the bird was not relevant

to me or (as far as I know) my grandpa (though it is generally symbolic of death), my grandpa and I were really not that close, and (as far as I know) the area where I felt the spasm did not correlate with my grandfather’s ailments. …Still, the events were close enough that it kind of gives me pause. In both death and dreaming, the brain produces DMT. It is possible we were both influenced by DMT simultaneously, and therefore in perhaps the same “realm,” facilitating some kind of non-physical communication. It’s impossible to know for sure, but I’m keeping an open mind.

THIS guy on the other hand has an excellent blog filled with true stories that are definitely creepy and paranormal…

My mom and aunt were very close. My mom was by her side when my aunt passed away.

My mom described the EXACT same feeling shooting up her arm to her neck the moment my aunt passed.

My mom did some research and apparently this is a common occurrence. Pretty strange but cool.

My wife and I have had a cat named Andy since we moved in together back in 2004-ish. In 2009, I joined the Air Force and got stationed at FE Warren AFB in Cheyenne, Wyoming. We moved into an on-base house and have lived there since.

Since we got here, I have seen a cat out of the corner of my eye a few times. It’s always a darker color, of similar size to Andy, but I never really pay much attention to it since we’ve got a cat like that. A few months ago, I saw this cat when I was in my upstairs office; it walked from the bedroom across the hall to a storage closet just outside my field of vision due to a wall. Figuring it was Andy on his way to the litter box inside, I called out to him to make sure to cover his poop this time (he had not done so well previous times). I never heard him getting into the box, so I go to check on him.

Yeah, he wasn’t there. Neither was our other cat, Min. They were both downstairs, sleeping, at the far end of the living room. Basically the exact opposite side of the house from where I thought Andy was a moment prior, and not nearly enough time had elapsed to account for any possible movement of any cat.

Upon talking to my wife about this, she told me about how she had several similar experiences since we moved here. Seeing a cat out of the corner of her eye, then getting up and trying to follow it, only to not find anything at all, and no possible way for it to be a cat of ours. I had her describe it to me before I gave any real details, and her description of it (adult-sized cat, dark coloration, always walking and never running) matched mine full-on.

Neither of us can honestly say that “Ghost Cat” is a negative thing for our house; we both love cats, and it hasn’t been a malevolent presence towards us.

Mind you, this is coming from someone who is fairly spiritual, but until now had a very firm belief that life and death are two totally separate realms, with no crossovers. I honestly can’t think of anything else it could be, especially given the unwittingly-shared experiences between my wife and I.

I must admit im a bit surprised as well. You would think that if there was a bit of reasoning why we choose this fandom it would be this but people are weird.

btw what forum is this less popular one?

I think the GB community has scared off most of the ghosts with all our packs and traps  They wont come anywhere near us!

The prohection floors in my theater are haunted… We call him Mobley … Swear to god, when all the lights are off in the theaters its scary as hell

A couple years ago my wife and I decided to visit Savannah Georgia, we had some pretty weird things happen in the hotel.

Every night around 2:30-3:00 am we were hearing old Civil War music playing and what sounded like luggage being dragged down the hallway. We would open the door and look around but saw nothing.

One night while taking a shower I heard a voice say “Are you done yet?” Assuming it was my wife I answered back, “I’ll be out in a minute”, her response was, “what do I care, take your time”…

On the last night we were there my wife woke up with child sized bite marks on her legs.

We asked the hotel about any hauntings and they told us the room we were staying in used to be an operating room during the Civil War where they would chop off limbs and drag them down the hallway and toss them down the trash chute. And that it was also haunted by a little boy who like to bite women.

well that would have been some nice info to know before you got the room.

i dont know if this counts as a ghost story or not but last year I was at a con and I wanted to take a shower before I went to a dance that sat night. So I hop into the shower and I thought I saw something cross the mirror. I didnt think twice for I was rooming with a bunch of guys and maybe it was a shadow from one of them. The next day when we checked out i asked the lady at the desk jokingly if someone died in there? Her face went pale and she said yes a few years ago in my bathroom! lets just say im not going to request that room next time I go back.

Spooky stuff

we have a hill just like that in flawduh, spook hill. equally as lame.

Wellllll, it started when me and some friends spent the night here…

After walking around taking pics and trying to record evps and not having much luck we decided to go to our guest room and lay down for a little while. The girls were afraid to sleep with the door open so we locked it (nothing like a dead bolt to keep ghosts out…) After sleeping for like an hour we all woke up at the same time… ( kinda weird). My friend says “you guys heard that too huh?” Well we didn’t, ut she says she heard something fall and hit the ground on the floor below us. Just waking up I had to use the bathroom so I said we should all go together to see what the noise was. Where the bathroom is located on the first floor is a kind of mini gift shop with paintings and post cards and what not. Well on the ground was a 8x10 painting face downthat had fallen off the wall. When I flipped it over it was a painting of a little girl standing in a hallway. After looking closer at the picture we realized its the hallway where our guest room was and the girl was standing outside her bedroom, THE GUESTROOM! I guess the “dead” bolt was stronger than I thought…

My girlfriend and I moved to the tri cities when I was 24, we had a family friend of years that we stayed with at first. One day the gf was out shopping with my friends wife and my buddy and I were out checking out the area. We all met up later that day and talked about what we should do for the remainder of the day and Skye, my buddies wife suggested they take us to see the “tri cities ghost”. I, being very skeptical questioned this over and over and they insisted it was real.

Story has it, by the river over the tracks and down a rock embankment, if you wait, around a certain time of night an old man would appear floating out over the water. He was allegedly a vagrant that was killed by a train. So I was all in “lets go” so we got some beer and headed to the spot. We got there and started down to the water and I noticed Skye wasnt coming, so I encouraged her and she insisted there was no way she was going down there. Which really made me wonder…

So Sarah, Dave and I sat down at the edge of the water for a couple hours telling stories of scary and/or wierd supernatural things we had experienced in our lives and lets just say the mood was set!

Dave (growing tired of nothing happening) insisted that if you throw rocks or sticks into the water you can sometimes wake him, but to be careful cause you didn’t wanna make him upset. I wasnt buying it but figured your in for a dime your in for a dollar, so I humored him.

Another hour of scary stories and a few more beers later I grabbed a large stick and carried it to the edge of the water. I flung it in and as soon as it hit, the water seemingly exploded! A 30 foot circle of water was bubbling up like crazy and my mind was spinning. The only thought that ran through my head was "something is gonna come out of that circle and I dont wanna know what it is! In a panic I leaped from rock to rock climbing my way to the top, I must have only touched 4 of those rocks in a 40 foot climb. Meanwhile thinking that if I left Dave and Sarah, my gf, at the bottom, whatever it was would eat them first, hahaha. Yeah im that guy:) Meanwhile Sarah is at the waters edge screaming her little head off and is so scared that she is falling all over the place and bashed her knees up pretty good. Dave scooped her up and carried her to the top.

By the time I got to the top I knew what had happened…there was an inlet from the city runoff about 30 feet under the water and every night at around midnight the inlet would open and miles of air backed up would rush to the top creating my “explosion”. and this whole thing was a trick that people in the tri cities like to do to the newbs to the area. So, yeah…no real ghosts here but an experience I will never forget, I laughed about my reaction for days to come and Dave swears I screamed like a little girl. In my defense, Ive caught 3 car prowlers and 1 guy breaking into our house and played the hero every time, but when it comes to something “supernatural” or apparently a lot of hot air:) Im the first to leave my friends behind to be eaten, haha.

After I first moved into my house here in KS it was getting late one night and everyone was in bed. I went up stairs to go to sleep when out of no where I hear the basement door slam followed by someone running across the wood floor. My cousin was living with us at the time so I thought maybe it was him but the he opens his door and looks at me like what are you doin. I shrugged and said “Did you hear that?” He nodded and I instantly got the chills.

We never did find out what that was but every once in a while I get that feeling like I’m being watched or someone is in the room with me ea. Seeing things outa the corner of your eye.

I later did research to find out Kansas is supposedly one of the most haunted places in the US. I would love to take some time to go check out the “hot spots” around here.

On a side note Japanese culture is filled with stories of spirits and demons and ghosts and is very popular still to this day.

That’s actually a natural phenomena called “gravity hills” we have a few around here in NY and I wish I could find the vid of my ex and I made of us videotaping the car rolling up the hill. The hand prints that’s a tough one. I can’t say that it’s completely supernatural origin but who knows.

@aceblackbelt: HOLY HELL! you stayed over night in a old crappy falling down place like that? try that around here and you get a ride in a cop car. I wouldnt worry about ghosts just the floor falling through.

Gravity hills are caused by your brain.

oh no, everything in FL is much lamer than every where else. You win good sir ;).

The finger prints would be caused by previous times people touching the trunk lid. The only sure way to make they’re off is with soap and water…or windex.
