Awesome info Vince , can i use that for both front and back as Justins links show metal for the back and plastic for the front??both have the same od but im guessing the wall thickness is different from one to the other …yes

Yeah. The OD on both handles has to be 1.125" The ID on the rear handle doesn’t matter, which is why you can use the chrome pipe they used on sinks, but for the front handle you need something with an ID of 1.120 to fit over the front peg.

At the longest EXPOSED point (where it meets the weld on top) the rear Handle should be 8-3/4" long so I’d probably have it cut to about 9.5" - 10" to give you enough pipe to shove into the gun body. Also, if you’re going for accuracy the rear handle should have 1/8" thick wall so that would be this stock

the inside of the gun takes in the pipe at 11/16" from the top weld, so if you can get your pipes cut at 9-7/16" then it will fit in as far as it can go and leave 8-3/4" exposed. Likely speedymetals isn’t going to cut to that small of a fraction, though, so maybe go for 9.5".

If you get the extending barrel up, and ready for sale could it be added on to this kit? Or is it a whole other beast?

It would be made to work with this kit, though it would probably work with just about any gunbody out there.

So, I guess the normal gun handles from MMM for example doesn’t fit anymore… ?!?

So, is there a way to get fitting handles somehow? You should add a kit with handles… :blush:

Is it now more complicated for the complete front assembly to drill holes for the lights into the gun ear as for the normal kit version?!?

So I have your 2.5 kit and I would really like to have the improved trigger box and cover. Any chance of purchasing the new trigger box assembly separate from the whole kit?

Two questions for TC:

  1. Will we get any shipping notification/tracking?

  2. Do you recomend brass inserts for the Clippard 701 (or any other parts)?

  1. Shipping will be processed through PayPal so they should alert you when a shipping label has been printed. Once you get notice for your shipping label things should be in the mail the following business day. I’ll be shipping in order of order placement/payment. There were a lot of day one orders, so keep that in mind.

  2. I have never used them. For the Clippard I would bolt it on from the back, making sure to use washers. For the base plate I simply drill right into the resin mounting posts. I don’t know if there is any room for inserts there, but that’s up to the builder if they want to mess with them.
