For what is seen here in this thread: screws, brass rod, rear PVC pipe do not come with the kit.
For a completed gun: silver collar, clippards, hoses, lights, switches, silver knobs, v-hook, trigger tip, banjos, and clear tube are not included.
I kind of play it by ear so I don’t have specifics. You will need a pair of small wood screws for the trigger box. You want them as thin as you can find and about 3/4th in length.
Just your basic 5-minute epoxy. You can get something specifically for plastics, too, though to be honest I’ve never really noticed a difference in performance.
1" PVC. That is the ID, the OD is actually something like 1.315, but they measure from the inside so look for the one labeled 1", not the one that actually is 1".
Drill straight and clean. Take it slow. Drill everything before you start putting stuff together, you may end up making it difficult to drill certain points after you have assembled specific parts.
I’m guessing you’d have to mask off the brass rod when you paint, since you can’t remove the trigger box after filling the access holes, and the holes have to be filled and sanded before painting.
TC, or those of you with this kit, is that what you do, or do you have an alternative method of attaching the trigger box after painting instead of before?
If you use long set screws you can sink them into the RIB and then use a nut from the inside of the trigger box to hold it down. I go about it the way shown above because I think it’s as strong of a bond you could possibly get, and as for the brass rod, I just scrape the excess paint off with a razor blade or sand paper.
