Was looking at Proton Packs online and found a very cool, somewhat updated looking proton pack that. I was wondering if anyone could identify what the Cyclotron was made of. I know the interior portion appears to be a closet ■■■■■■ but the portion around it I have no idea.
There is some molded-in text under the ribbon cable and blue label. It’s a shame the eBay image isn’t any bigger, as I’m betting that would give it away, or a least point in the right direction.
Hasbro nerf n-strike disk shot, I have modded 1 of these with a vent kit
Took me awhile to track it down, but it’s part of a Hasbro Nerf N-Strike Disk Shot
Much appreciated gents. Btw what are you using to get the awesome glow around the base of the cyclotron?
I used some 12V LED strips like what is available in auto part stores, but I have a100’ reel and just cut the length I need and solder on power wires, Smaller strips were used for the cyclotron lights also and each was driven with a small dc voltage converter to get the 12V needed from the normally 3 to 5 V usually driving the cyclotron LED’s
I gutted the Nerf parts still inside to make room for electronics and used a dremel extensively to mod the pack
the links above are broken to Jim’s pack. Any assistance? :garrett:
