Ok so gotta quick Question, Just moved into my new apartment, and along came the time to finally move my Pack up with me. Before I had just drilled two screws in a stud in the wall and hung my pack, but I want something a little lower, so my question is, whats the best solution??? I was thinking of going with a guitar stand, but I’m always up for your thoughts and opinions.
Do all guitar stands work? I bought one last weekend at a garage sale. It was a tripod style guitar stand. The feet had poles that stick straight up and not at a angle. It is only about a foot and a few inches tall. It also has one of those u shaped pads on the top of the tripod. I will include pictures. I don’t have my pack yet. I bought one online, so it is hard judge. I just couldn’t pass up a $2 guitar stand when my pack is coming in the next few weeks. I think it should work. I would just like your opinion. I will know if it fits soon enough anyways.
Looks like you should have enough clearance for it. If not, you could always try and bend them outwards. But, as is, it looks like it should clear the Spacer and Cyclotron. It’s hard to tell, but it looks like it should miss the N-Filter as well. The bars don’t look like they come up far enough to clip the Bumper, so I think you’ll be all right. The only problem you may have are the top bars, and those look like they’ll be all right. Even if they do hit the back of the motherboard before it rests full on the stand, it should be all right, assuming that the person building your pack put a space between the motherboard and the ALICE frame.
