which guitar stand do u use for your pack ? pls post with picture
i would have thought that all guitar stands were created equal. interesting question. will definitely be watching this one.

I can’t see a stand with support for the guitar neck working too well with a pack. I would imagine something like this is the best option. It works for me and several others, anyway.
I just got a cheep one from the music shop and it works fine

can u post a picture with your pack in the stand ?
if it does have a neck support, it can still be used, just make sure that the U shaped part that actually keeps the neck in place is collapsable. and if you can find one with supports on the front to prevent it from ever sliding forward and off the stand, then DEFINITELY get it.
I have a guitar “hanger” type thing I use. It’s mounted on my wall. It’s basically the U neck support from a regular stand, only mounted on a block of wood and screwed into the wall. I slip my pack’s straps over it and it looks pretty spiffy. It’s never fallen off or anything. I’ll post pics later.
Nice, JackIvy, that’s the way to go…I’m hoping to do something similar with my pack once it’s all said and done. I only hope my damn cats don’t try to go after it…they already seem to think the straps on my ALICE pack are playthings…

The neck will straddle the center of the ALICE pack frame. The pack sits nicely on the neoprene legs.

i had a pack and a guitar stand, never occured to me to use them together . . . :sigh:

I just picked up two of the onstage stands, they fit perfectly, and tilt the pack so you don’t need to tie it to the stand. They are also cheap, on Amazon I got two new for $16.50 each, with free ground shipping.
That is the exact stand that I was envisioning for displaying a pack. I will have to get one of these. Great find!
