This is my second pack build, as im sure you will be able to tell i was trying to make it as accurate as i possibly can, while still adding my own touches here and there.
The pack shell = Zombie-Repellent
The Gun = Throwing Chicken
The pack lights and sound = Crix
and i was given a LOT of advice and assistance from Funkpunktwang

i was able to find a Throwing Chicken gun that was used and painted, but i had to sand it down to get the re paint with the shade of black that im using.
now to install the CRIX lights and sounds,
I LOVE THE LIGHT KIT, however it was a little tricky to mount it to the MOBO, i wanted to make sure that i could remove the shell with out having any parts attached so nothing breaks when its time to change the batteries.
i had to make this bracket out of some aluminum that i had laying around.
at this point im just testing everything, and getting the placements just right, the final product will be much cleaner when its done.
there is still more work to be done, and i need to figure out how to upload videos so i can try to do the lights and sounds justice, but trust me they are awesome, and pretty easy to install!!!

thanks guys, today i pretty much finished up the wiring for everything, i just need to bolt in another speaker, and change my batteries. i didnt have a kill switch for my amp till today and my batteries are pretty much tapped out.

I installed the sound board and added a couple of extra single pole switches so i could decided weather or not i wanted the long pack hum on.
i know it looks messy right now, but i really want this thing to be done for NYCC. then during the winter im planning to redo all the wiring and make it look much cleaner.
i did a little more work on my pack, i tried to clean up the wiring a little, and i added a battery box because i felt that it would be better than trying to make individual holders for the 4 power sources.
i also added a LED indicator light to the AMP kill switch to remind me when i have it powered so i dont accidentally leave it running.

battery box AKA, TOY STORY mini lunch box bought for $3 at local store where items are $5 or less (five below)
i used a chunk of foam to keep everything in place, but ive been thinking of storing a back up set of batteries instead, and just keeping the foam inside the base of that holds the booster tube when not needed
box w/o foam, u can see that i lined the box with duct tape to prevent any shorting out with loose wires and or metal tabs on the battery holders.
im still waiting for some parts to come in the mail (V hook, Crank knob, booster plug) and i still need an ion cap… let me know if you have any tips on where to get one.

Lee, its looking good! My only question is what’s up with 7 9v’s? Do you have them wired up in parallel so they last you longer? Just curious.
its actually 6 9v and one AA battery pack that holds 2 batteries, that uses the 9v plug.
i did run them as two sets of three, parallel trying to extend the life of my pack and gun lights.
today i tried the pack out an event and it looked like the gun lights were dying out within 2.5-3 hrs, but when i got them home everything was back to being bright, so i think it was just that it was very over cast when we first got to the event and the sun light started to come out and it was too bright for my lights.
im planning to install rechargeable battery packs but im not sure which ones will give me long life and the correct voltage.
i need a 3v a 9v (for pack and gun lights) and a 12v power source.
where did you get the housings for your cyclotron lights?
Where did you get your bumper from? Is that a Zombie Repellent cast too? How about the motherboard?
