Hello! I’m new to the GBFans Forums (not to the site though, as I’ve been slowly accumulating various parts for my full size Spirit Pack for Halloween)

Anyways I’ve been considering for a hot minute doing an eventual upgrade to a Proton Props fiberglass shell. First off, would any of y’all recommend them? And secondly (and what I’m really asking) does anyone know of a way to make the cyclotron cover on them removable? (Like how the Haslab pack has)

I haven’t seen anything online if anyone had any recommendations on doing this and it’s probably for a pretty good reason (I’m assuming it’s something to do with cutting through fiberglass) but I just wanted to know if there was in fact a way to possibly make it work.

Proton Props shells are very good quality. He’s had issues keeping to deadlines, but now has someone working with him just doing the shells, so buying one should be quicker than it was. Contact him directly to see what his lead times are like now.
