I’ve been getting ready to build my own proton pack, but then I saw one on ebay today for about $170. Since I’m new to this, I wanted to a second opinion on it.

Tip: A “quality” Proton Pack won’t cost you anything less then $850; and that’s me rounding down.
A 850-900 pack would be with no sound or lights (usually).
I believe I found the pack you’re speaking of and I can say right now that it is NOT a “quality” Proton Pack. It’s a good stand-in Halloween pack but if you’re looking for something professional I suggest making it yourself.
Save your money and put $170 in parts from the online store on this site.
You’ll be happier with a pack you build yourself… even if you use a ready-made shell or get help with some of the assemblies. It’s kind of like a Jedi building his lightsaber.
