Hey Everyone,
Been at least a year since I’ve logged on!! Crazy how time flies!!!
I do have a question though… I’ve been looking into building my own proton pack for Halloween, and possibly at work (We have a Halloween Themed event at the end of the year) and I could dress up and be part of the attraction! My question is… ROUGHLY, how much does it take to build a proton pack?! I see a few on eBay going for $650, $850 and $1,300… would I be better off building my own for cheap? Or buying one of these that’s completed (One has all the lights, sounds and music)? Thanks Guys!! Glad to be back!!!

It all depends on how accurate you want it to be. You can build a pack for $20 out of cardboard and dollar store lights or you could spend $2000 and use all real parts with full lights and sound. On average for a decently accurate pack expect to budget around $700 +/- $200 depending on deals or screw ups. Wow, thanks for the 411 Jack… I’m REALLY trying to talk my wife into just letting me buy one of the ones off eBay… I would LOVE to build one on my own, but with school work and kids… it would take me years to complete it!
I think I’ve spent roughly around $600-700 on my pack, which has a fiberglass shell, aluminum motherboard, and mostly resin parts. I can’t imagine how much more it would have cost with the metal parts. And I don’t even have a gun, lights, or sound yet, lol.
