I’ve been out of the game for a while…I never got around to putting a sound chip in my pack, so it’s been lights only for a while. I’ve been redoing my damaged thrower and I think it’s time to finish it off..
Anyone know of a ready to go sound kit that is compatible with the R2Devo light kit without major modification? AJ tells me the GBFans soundboard is compatible, but not plug and play and I have no idea how to connect the two!
I’d rather not replace the lights…but if it comes to that…
Having kinda the same issue. I have the fans sound board but their light kit is sold out til mid 2016. Wish I knew what to do til then.
We could potentially create an adapter board that would allow you to hook up any Pack kit to the GBFans Sound Board. I will talk it over with Spongeface to see what he thinks.
I have the R2Devo light kit in my pack. I used the ReplicaProps sound chip and followed their guide to wire everything up. It’s quite a bit more of a labor to wire everything together (my 12V battery powers lights and the Canakit 7W amp for the sound, while 3x AAA batteries power the sound chip itself and I had to replace several switches with DPDT ones), but they do function well once it’s all put together.
