Just a heads up that the reboot cast will be appearing on Graham Norton (BBC) on Friday 17th June.

Wonder why they’re appearing this soon anyway? It doesn’t come out until 12th July.
It works towards building up hype and interest. As Ghostbusters is an American property they might have to work a bit harder to get some of the more blasé British cinemagoers to go see it.
This appears to be the entirety of their appearance in the show today.

Thanks Michael, I missed it last night, but if I remember correct it’s also repeated on Monday evening (but I can also watch it on BBC IPlayer, which appears to be one of your links). 
It had it’s funny moments again. I lolled. Such a shame people will be looking at this with hate filled clenched fists while McCarthy says it’s not an ‘either/or’ situation when talking about the original two movies and the reboot. Why can’t we just all get along? It’s not replacing anything.
A shame the clip about the ghost catching is edited out though!

They started with the wrong foot. Feig/Pascal/Sony wanted to make their own thing, unrelated to the originals. It doesn’t sound as “why can’t we all get along” to me. It smells like “move aside, old geezers. We’ll show you how to make a real great movie”.
Now that the negative buzz is at its highest peak they ask to get along.

I believe that was out and about for Feig’s appearance at Forbidden Planet in London on Friday.
He wasn’t asking why the fans and the studio can’t get along, he was asking why the fans for and against the film can’t get along.
Because, for some of us, the movie was ill conceived. It could be Casablanca, but with all the war behind the scenes we’ll not accept it with open arms. I repeat myself: if Feig would have worked humbly at Reitman side, making an all female sequel we’d all be happier.
That’s responding to a different question than what he asked. He was asking why do the fans struggle to put aside their differences in order to get along?
Because some fans are looking forward to it, and some others hate the very notion of this movie.
This has led to a Gb: Civil War. Team Feig vs Team Reitman.
I wanna be in Team Ghostbusters! 
It’s not because of the differing opinions that there’s a war, it’s because people can’t accept the fact that each can have their own opinion… it’s either their way or nothing… respect for opinion (and each other, for that matter) is almost non-existent…
I’m sure this happens a lot in Hollywood, a shame Ghostbusters went through this.
