I’ve heard rumors the codes are packaged inside the game but nothing confirmed, anyone know how this works? Can someone just go into Gamestop or something and buy the game without preordering and still get the codes?
i know when i bought my copy of SmackDown! vs. RAW 2009 they had a special code to unlock Ric Flair and the codes were inside on an insert, but the GameStop verions had a different code in it and the insert was inside the plastic wrapping.
If you wait a day or two all the codes will be online more than likely on IGN or GameFAQS or something.
Im just hoping it is like SvR and the codes are entered IN GAME, Im dreading those damned Xbox Live and PSN codes that can only be used once
there’s probably a section in the options menu or something for codes so u just go in and put them all in. i would assume they’re one time use codes but it’ll probably be the same code for each thing on every system. i’m sure they’ll change one or 2 things for each consoles codes but like all the 360 ones will be the same. thats how it was for SvR
anyone willing to share their codes AFTER they enter them? for the sake of testing. Definatly use it first though.
Each code is for DOWNLOAD content only. When you get the code you will put it in and it will give you access to the item for download.
Each code will be unique to each consol and can only be used once. These are not cheat codes, these are download redemption serial numbers.
I keep seeing topics and requests for people to put up thier codes after they get them and I’m sorry I have to put a stop to it as this is NOT how the pre order incentives work.
You recieve the card that has printed on it a serial number to redeem your pre order incentive. Depending on the store this code may be packed on a slip of paper within the game or on a seperate card that they give you during the time of check out.
You then go to what ever online market place that is available to you system and will find instructions on putting the code in and redeeming which ever pre order incentive you chose.
These codes are UNIQUE TO EACH CONSOLE. This is not a cheat code that will pop up online so that everyone can partake, that would defeat the entire purpose of a pre order incentive. I repeat these codes will only be able to be used ONCE and ONLY ONCE.
Please stop asking people to share your codes when they get them as they will be useless to you, and it makes you sound like a grubby little cheap skate who was too damn lazy to pre order the game in the last few MONTHS.

Correct me if i’m wrong Dan, but you’re saying these code redemption slips are like the cards you may see at a local retailer to buy a full game from xbox live or PSN. Basically you enter the code and it redirects you to the location where you download this add-on for the game. In essence it’s a download code for pre-order incentive DLC?!
I have seen, however; preorder incentive slips that come with codes that are entered in-game. (similar to a cheat code) Saint’s Row 2 came with slips inside for two unlockable vehicles. They were unlocked by typing a number into the in-game cell phone if i remember correctly. Once the codes were input the vehicles would be waiting in your garage.
Do we know for sure which method these pre-order incentives are using?

Besides its not being cheap its called buying the game somewhere that doesnt have codes. I paid for a PC and Wii version already and i plan to get all versions, thats hardly cheap my friend.

I believe this is correct. I’m pretty sure it’s Gamestop exclusive DLC for Xbox Live or PSN.
Xbox and PS3 codes are ALL unique and can only be used. It’s a well known fact.
He works at Gamestop and has already seen the codes / slips… etc.
Just called game stop and confirmed it will be on a card given when you pick up your pre-order for the ghostbusters 2 uniform.
I got my game a lil early from gamestop last Friday and the card for the gb2 suit at least comes packaged inside the game box
