I just wanted to let you guys know that the July issue of GameInformer has a single-page review on the GB game for both the realistic ps3/360 version & the cartoon-styled Wii version.
Interestingly they give the Xbox360/PS3 version an 8 out of 10 while the Wii version they only give a 6.5 out of 10. They sum up the difference in scores by saying:
Haven’t had an opportunity to read the entire article just yet, but 8 out of ten is not a bad score!
I think that, once the game comes out, the AUR (Average User Rating), will be A LOT higher.
So I’m not going to let this impact my views of this game whatsoever. Plus! The couple of things that were mentioned about why it didn’t get at least a 9, I do agree with.
I think it’s great that the PS3/360 version of the game is getting 8/10’s, if it were the one getting a 6.5 I might be worried. The Wii/DS/PS2 version don’t look too hot so I’m not surprised.
I’m sure it’ll be good for the kiddies n’ all, but I’m SO glad they went with a realistic take rather than just settle for the cartoon style for each game.
i read on wikapedia that psm gave the game an 83/100 pretty decent score. on the other hand they did criticise the game for being ‘‘too short’’, but does any body really care how long this game is? cause i don’t. as long as i can go proton crazy with the ghosts i could care less.
i dont as long as the stories are decent and there are alot of cool ghosts… and a heck of a final showdown at the end.
i mean come on, a sloar, staypuft, an new villian and a possible return of gozer… this game has it all.
all i want to do is “ghostbust” because this is what the game is for… and these guys just played through… didnt hunt for the extras or listen to the dialouge i bet, and possibly skipped the cutscenses. thats got to be more than short.
