I was reading an article on Kotaku about there Ny Comi Con report.
Final Thoughts
I came away really impressed with Ghostbusters: The Video Game, even in this short 20 minute demo. It plays sorta similar to Gears of War – it even includes its own “rodie run.” When you add solid, fun gameplay with terrific writing and voice acting, it usually means good things will happen.
I am not a die hard Gamer so I was just wondering what a “rodie run” is
Cheers
I’m not 100% sure, but I think they’re simply talking about the characters ability to run opposed to walking throughout the entire game…the running mode does look similar to GOW.
“rodie run” in gears, is when you duck and run in a crouched type of position.
I didn’t know you can crouch in the game, and the running is a new feature isn’t it?
It’s ‘Roadie Run’, based on the run across stage that roadies do in order to fix stuff, while ducked, so as not to distract from the band. GOW featured it as a way to run to cover.
i haven’t seen any shots of the GBs doing it, mind.

2:18-2:20 we see a little “rookie run” action. Not sure if that’s what’s being referred to here. He’s basically just doing a little sprint.
