I am in the middle of making a roof rack for a suburban and I have tried and tried to look up the specs on parts but cant seem to find anything. I am going for more a gb1 look but I cant seem to find any info on the parts for the top of the roof rack besides the clear dome. If you could help out that would be much appreciated
Part of the reason you cant find specs is they will vary for the size of your build…for example the yellow tanks on Ecto are WWII Oxygen Tanks used mainly in bombers like the B-17 and B-25…While a Suburban is closer to a 59M+M in length than many other modern conversions…those tanks are gonna be too big for you.
What looks right on the real car and what looks right on an HHR, Magnum, Chevy Wagon, and Burban are ALL different things!
The accurate measurements are out there if you look hard enough…aside from that, just figure out what looks good on your vehicle and go with that.
