Here are some pictures of our costume for halloween.

My uniform consists of a tropic overall of the German Bundeswehr with a khaki color a bit darker then the original GB uniforms. The name patches and the no ghost patch are from Katarra8. The boots are those I wore myself when being in the Bundeswehr. We added a Bavarian flag patch on the left arm.

Her uniform is some sort of a jacket formed dress from Cecil in gray. We searched a long time for a correct sized suit but with absolutely no luck. In Germany there seem to be no child sized (which we needed for the small missus) military or whatever suits and those available for childs are way tooooo small. So no luck here, we had to find some sort of dress … and she hates dresses. But whatever, the search for a dress like this was endless anyway, or let’s say, searching for something suitable for a GB costume for small women in Germany is / was a pain in the a** (literally)!!!
Her boots are safety boots from her work. Yeah she’s tough, she even wears a full sized heavy proton pack here ![]()
The belts are LC-1 belts from military stores. The elbow protectors for her are real elbow protectors for childs, mine are her knee protectors. We couldn’t find the right ones so we have to go with those.

And ready for the action, ghost spotted, guns drawn g
The belt gizmo is just a black sheet of plastic with glued capacitors (as dixie tubes) and other electronic stuff on it. It almost looks like the one on the reference pics from winstons stunt pack belt gizmo. The daughterboard is almost the same, only smaller. We haven’t got that yellow tube and the attachement hose yet, but that’ll come in time, too.

No luck this time, the ghost flew away lol.

As we have no Ectomobile, a sticker on the backside with the official Royal Bavarian Ghostbusters “koa Gspenst” (no ghost in Bavarian) logo printed on weatherproof foil for outside stickers lol. And yeah, the number plate shows max. nerdiness … :walterpeck:
Well, in conclusion, not very accurate uniforms, but anway, was fun making them and even more time wearing them and showing up as the ROYAL BAVARIAN GHOSTBUSTERS, catching spirits for the royalty (a ghost himself), King Ludwig the second.

Hail to the king!
