Samhain Costume in Progress. (Budget Costume.)

This all that I have done so far…The head, I got the big light-up pumpkin from Target for $30

And the hands, again Target for $6,also painted them pumpkin orange Wal-Mart for $3

This is going to be epic. I can’t wait t see how this turns out.

I like where this is going…

very original and very awesome!!

Very cool, I am very interested in seeing where this goes.

looking forward to seeing the final product!

I wore a real pumpkin over my head as a kid. I wasn’t going for Samhain though.

As a side note, does anyone else think it would be a great idea if they sold those fake foam pumpkins blank and let you carve your own pattern into them?

they have such a thing, I’ve seen them at the local “Christmas Tree Shop” before, but I dont know if they make them large enough to wear on your head…

SWEET!! can’t wait to see the completed costume!!

This is going to be pretty awesome! I can’t wait to see how it turns out!

Can’t wait to see how this turns out

GO GO GO Cant wait to see the end result, i just watched the first episode with Sam Hain 2 weeks ago, so this is epic!

Thanks guys, here is the final result…

HAHAHAHA!!!

So simple- But I LOVE it!

Does the head bob around on you? Nice work man!

VERY cool! Can you make a dracula like collar for it? You canput coat hangers inside it to keep it stiff, and upright.

It also loooks like if you wear one of those forehead flashlights that can tilt, it would be hidden by the pumkin, and you could have it lit up as well.

Gareee: You’re a mastermind dude.

Excellent costume man! I have to agree with Gareee on both his ideas though, every now and then he almost seems sane

I think the collar will be a challenge to make I do plan on looking around for that. I can always get a head flashlight at Target I know we sell them. The pumpkin does bobble alittle bit so I have to hold my neck up to keep it balanced and I can see through the mouth. Thanks for the tips guy and for the compliments.

Very cool man, I love it. I’ve always wanted to do a Sam Hain costume.

There haven’t been enough Samhain costumes, for what you’ve used, it’s come out great.
