Sanctum of Slime Proton Pack?

Hey everyone, sorry I have been away for so long. Work is taking alot of my time and what little I have left I am trying to get my Subject Delta costume ready for Halloween.

I haven’t had a chance to check out Sanctum of Slime yet, but I saw what looked like a new emitter at least on the proton pack from the “cover” for the game. Does anybody know if there is a definative new version of the pack in this game thats diffrent from the previous ones or the movies? I’m curious if there is a new option for equipment now.

Thanks,

We have only seen small bits and essentially what we can make out fomr screen shots… seems there are small differences here and there, more lights and a different style gun

Where the heck did my post go?

The thrower on the cover art was simply mistakenly drawn upside-down.

I have noticed the packs have no Ion Arm, and lights on the top instead of the big red warning label.

I am not a fan of this so called proton pack but I got some screen caps.

actually, it looks really cool for secondary packs.

Isn’t this game supposed to be in modern times? If so, then the proton packs would have been upgraded by then in some way. Which probably would explain why the SOS packs look a lot different from the movies.

Also in the picture above I just noticed the arm patch logo on Bridget is backwards.

No actually it takes place in 1989 or 90. Which makes even less sense since GB:TVG takes place in '91. Basically it boils down to the programmers not putting a lot of detail on the pack since they’re really not seen up close. Hell I’m playing SoS on a 42 HDTV and it looks like a black box with some lights on it.

But isn’t this the sequel to GB:TVG? If so then it could not be 1989 or 1990 because GB:TVG is in the year 1991. Also in the comics for SOS when the first Relic of Nilhe was dug up, the date given was 2010.

EDIT: I just checked out the intro on youtube and I found out that I’m mistaken the relic was dug up in 1954.
