SCGB film shoot #4 (Orpheus) lots of pics

another loooong day, but we entered the RGB.com contest and got a new group pic, and did some scenes we didn’t get to at the last FD shoot. Tired but happy : )

It was a great time.

Thanks for sharing the pics. Looks like you guys are having a blast.

I just noticed in the one picture Bob is telling you that you’re number one, twice.

lol

It’s a LOT of work, but we do try to have fun. Yes, Sam, thanks for pointing that out. Bob must be doing #1 for me and for Dave – LOL.

Since I just signed the forum rules, I edited the pic for content.

What kind of video equipment are you using, Brad?

Well, Dave has a teeny weenie palm camcorder but it’s HD and it has a hard drive that stores something like 10 hrs in HD or 300+ hrs in regular DV. The lens is maybe smaller than a half-dollar, maybe a quarter.

It’s great for filming a handful of people, and that’s how we did the movie. It will be more like Star Wars New Hope with 4-5 people or less in a shot. (The pics are from my 6MP camera, not from the movie camera.) Dave may want to wait until after post to use this shoot for our trailer. Lighting is a MAJOR pain and we average about 1 hour to set up a shot with one min of screen time. If we shoot outdoors we get a lot more done, but most of the movie is inside.

We will be at the Library tomorrow, and we have 3 hrs, or 3 min of footage with lighting, so it will be close…
