Ok so just scored this for 15 bux. Building a gb1 pack.
What you guys think. Shoulder straps look right. Seems the kidney / belt is wrong but that sounds easy to find?

Looks like you have a green LC-2 frame with LC-1 shoulder straps and an LC-2 kidney pad. Not a bad deal, but the frame is not correct if you want to go screen accurate for GB1. Still a great deal for a full frame set up.
ahh damn ok. Thought it was an lc-1 frame too. It def at least looks black in the pic?.. i was hoping to just order the kidney pad

Paint it black and only a handful of hardcore fans would know that it wasn’t the correct frame.
yeah what AJ said. the LC1 frames are easy to find its the damn shoulder straps and kidney pad and waist band that are a bitch. Use it dude only OCD assclowns like me and a handful of others are ever going to be able to tell the difference…especially since you got the shoulder straps
Very true. I should have said that earlier.
You can use aircraft paint stripper to take it down to the bare metal and then paint it black.
That way when it gets scratched; no annoying green underneath.
I say aircraft paint stripper so you don’t risk corrosion on the frame.

Well good thing ididnt pay more then. Either way prob good deal for the straps alone. I do see the green tint in the frame now it looked black on my work computer!

I’d say to hell with the frame, the fact you found a set of LC1 straps for such a reasonable price is good going.
If you’re really wanting to be uber accuracy nut and have an LC1, you could probably go for one of the aftermarket frames that are quitte common now and just slap on the straps you have!!
I got one aftermarket frame on my first try but the aluminum straps are noticably thinner. But ive spent so much money on this pack making the mold and shells etc i dont care about another 40 bux or so 
to get it right.

I am actually in the market for this exact style I wanted to do a combo of the two styles. LC-2 Frame, LC-1 Straps, LC-2 Kidney pad and belt. If I can find some LC-1 straps to swap out I will be doing exactly this. I think you got an awesome deal!
GB2 accurate for the Hero packs.
EDIT: Well, most of them.
Also, no paint stripping will be needed. Olive Green under black appears to be screen accurate.
Painting the frame is a seemingly small step that just shows you care. 
There arent a lot of differences visually between a gb1 and gb2 pack anyway.
Injector placement
Ribbon cable
Color of the crank knob
Make of the tubing and fittings
Alice frame and straps…

Gb1 and Gb2 heroes are essentially the same packs.
The Gb2 Spengler retorfit and Stantz retrofit the only differences was the custom padding, black crank knob and ribbon cable. Without going back to check I’m pretty sure the Ion Arm was more weathered and didn’t have any paint over the copper rods, but on those 2 mentioned packs they were both set up with the Gb1 Ion cap configuration
Ahhh yes forgot about the Ion arm cap. I was speaking primarily about the obvious differences. Pack weathering is a personal preference among their respective builders
