ive been looking around for parts to build my pack and i found a number of items for it, but im still having trouble finding parts, anyone have some good feedback on parts that they have found? im doing a scratch build so any feedback help tons. thanks guys
I think you have to be more specific about what parts you need before people can help you.
I tried to detail my makeshift parts replacements in my build there here.
any input at all, like “anything” all ive found are a few small parts. nothing to major, thats why i said “any feedback helps”
Feedback: How are we suppose to tell you what “Parts” you need if you don’t tell us what “Parts” you already have?
omg… really? all anyone would have to do is say “oh yeah i found this or this here blah blah blah works great” but that seems to be to hard. i basicly need “everything” for the pack hows that? work better? jesus christ…
Seems someone forget to take their meds.
try these…
A quick look will give you a lot of answers
Yeah, it’s called a search button. There are a million little parts to the pack, if you want to build one you better start to learn what they are an not expect everyone to just hand the info over in a neat and tidy package. Oh wait, it is all in a neat little package, it’s called the reference section. Several threads in this section and the reference one cover everything from garage packs made from dollar store finds to accurate packs made from as many authentic parts as can be sourced.
Your question was very broad and showed you really didn’t bother to try and do any research at all. Folks are able and willing help but you gotta do some leg work, too. Getting upset at folks trying to get specifics from you is not going to get you off on the right foot.
Might I recommend a little time here: http://www.gbfans.com/equipment/plans/
Then come back and ask more specific questions. Good luck with the build.
i dont see why theres a problem on this post, im building a scratch pack myself and i had no help at all. someone said to check this site out, but my question is how can someone ask for something specific when hes asking for anything? i mean isnt the word its self kinda open for all things? like if someone told you that you could go into a junkyard and anything you could get in those 3 hours would be free, i wouldnt sit there and ask the person specificly what i can and cannot get. just my opinion
I see a problem. The rules:
Why did you create a new account?
Al the feedback and information you are looking for is already here in the forums. You just need to read a bunch of the posts that are already here.
It’s a pretty simple freaking question. You didn’t even tell us what part your working on. For instance say, “Hey Guys I’m working on the crank gen right now, any tips?” THEN we could say hey try this try this use this … quite simple. The problem is you start out by saying “I found somethings but I’m having trouble finding the other parts…”. Well, yea so tell us WHAT you found so far and we can go from there. Why should we take our time to be like well use split loom on the crank gen if you already bought it? As stated above the search function works ( If you don’t want to look at one of the countless pack build threads on the very FIRST page of the proton pack topic), use it. Sorry, I seem to be out of spoons at the moment or I would help feed you.
ahhh how I love the approach of halloween. all the best questions come out around this time. For future posts, just be specific…if your looking for idieas on scratch building the clippard valves, then ask about that, for building the gearbox or the gunmount or the fins on these, then just ask…asking how to scratch build parts on the pack without being specific is only going to cause painful posts…We are really happy to help…really we are…some more after after they have had a few beers
