I want to make screenshots of my gameplay, but I can’t seem to find a good program for Vista. Can someone recommend me one? I tried using Screenshot Pilot, but it doesn’t work so well. When I press the hotkey button, the game kicks me out! Any suggestions? Thanks.
It’s not a perfect solution, but the “Print Screen” button is a tried and tested method for getting screenshots.
There was a program I used to use for times where I couldn’t just zip out to Paint/Photoshop… but sadly I can’t remember the name. ![]()
You want a program that can take screenshots without pulling you out of the game, and preferably save them in series just from clicking the action key.
I used camstudio (http://camstudio.org/) to record my screen then took screencaps. Running it while running the game really slowed down my PC, almost to the point where the game wasn’t playable, but it got the job done. Be sure to have at least 20GB of free hard drive space.
Yeah, I know about it. But then I’d have to open Paint so the result would be the same. Thanks anyway. ![]()
Okay, thank you! I’ll try it, but…you know my PC is slow anyway, so I don’t know.
I have almost 100GB of free space, so that won’t be a problem. Thanks again!
No, no. Use Fraps (google it). It’s an awesome tool that wont slow down gameplay with pictures, but will with video. It also has a tool that tells you the FPS of your game.
