I decided to play the game through a second time (yay!) but along the way I’ve been grabbing a ton of screen caps with FRAPS. I’m up to 169 so far, I have concentrated on making sure I get grabs of each different proton pack phase, some good all-round views of ECTO-1B and lots of pictures of the Firehouse. I’ve even got some stills fro m the videos although early ones still have the subtitles over them (I turned them off after the Sedgewick though). I’m playing on PC at 1920x1200 so there’s a LOT of detail in the shots.
If any of you are interested in a particular part or area let me know. I’m currently in the History Museum and because I changed difficulty levels on my career non oft he parts after that are unlocked.
I know some prop makers are doing TVG packs and props or adding TVG features to existing packs. I have shots both of the Rookie’s pack and walking around the other Ghostbusters so you can see the parts you can’t see on the player’s.
Now, I would post them but A) there’s 169, B) they total 414MB and C) I’m worried about copyright and at that number am a little reticent to watermark them all.
Any suggestions? I could maybe pick out the best ones and post those? Will I get nailed for it?
I’d just sign up for a free photobucket account and toss them all up. Corperations are nearly as anal about images as they are about audio and video, it’s impossible to police.
I have flickr Pro so they’d go up there. I really don’t relish uploading all of them at 41k/s tho

Okay, so I assume you’d like the proton pack pictures adding to the relevant section for each pack mode (i.e. slime blower, shock blast, meson colider etc.)? I can surely do that. Is there a limit to the number of picture’s you’d think was suitable? I will crop them down to only show relevant areas, obviously. Also is there a 101 for site editing, I’ve never edited this type of site before.
There are “stickers/decals” on the slime blower and the slime tank. I really need hi-res close up pics of those in order to finish my replicas in detail! Thanks very much in advance for the help.
I don’t think I can pick them out from the screen caps any better than you have there, to be honest, but I have another plan up my sleeve I’ll PM you if I make any significant progress.

Oh, for those wondering, having 4GB of RAM does help the game run more smoothly, but only a little. It’s useful for screen capping though as it reduces the amount of swapping and disk access that makes the game run like stuck crap after about 50 caps.
Actually, we could use good caps of just about everything.
I’ve taken on maintaining the GB:TVG Enemies section of the site, but I don’t really have a screen-cap friendly version of the game (360 version has its limitations) so I’ve just been sharing my strategies for taking down anything in the game (and since I frequently tear through it with a mind to experiment, I’m finding all sorts of fun ways to bring the pwnage). Caps of the ghosts (both in-game and database snapshot) would definitely be useful. Since you’ll be busy snapping everything for everyone, just send me a PM when you’ve uploaded some spooks to flickr or whatever and I’ll crop and resize as needed to fit the page. Maybe link a full-size pic if I can figure out how to make it pop.
I’ve been slowing capping the PC version. I’ve got extensive shots of the basic, stasis and slime packs, the PKE and lifeguard. I’ve been slowing collecting pics of the ghosts, upgrade screens and cursed artifacts. I’ll get them up into my photobucket in the next few weeks unless someone really needs somthing right now.
Any good ones you wanna post of Egon, I’d GLADLY take. Seriously, I’d worship you. Been kind of grabbing mine off walkthroughs on Youtube and…quality wise, not the best heh. So yeah. Any of Egon you wouldn’t mind giving to this Egon fangirl, would be greatly appreciated.
With the PC game if I go back and play older missions it deletes anything after that and I have to replay everything again. If you want something from a cut scene I think I can play them without messing up the game play.
Ohh ouch. Didn’t know it did that. Well, I’ll just watch this thread and see whatever Egon pops up that I might be able to nab for myself. Thanks anyways :]
