The accessory pack’s pretty interesting, a Subway tunnel exploration helmet, a Kud Meter… and what looks like it could be a Giga Meter (or might not, the photo’s fuzzy).
I’m glad they revealed what the exclusive figure was, whilst I love 6inch scale Ecto Goggles, as I’m going to be getting Lab Coat Ray, I don’t need a third Ray figure.
I love the No-Ghost logo base, though… wish that’d been as standard with the series.
I’m under the impression that there are SIX 6" figures planned for 2011, so Club Ecto subscribers such as myself will receive the Marshmallow Ray in Jan '11 and ALL SIX 2011 6" FIGURES throughout the year (totaling 7)… any 6" that are released in 2010 - even if you have the Club Ecto subscription - you have to purchase individually as the subscription only covers 2011 figures.
only upset about the club exclusive , all the rest is great and a applaud matty for there hard work but a marshmellow variant for an exclusive! i mean come on now
The Ecto goggles and MT500 would have made more sense if it was added to the original 6" Ray b/c those accessories are mostly remembered from the Hotel scene; not the scene after they fought Stay Puft. Guess you can always just add them to the other (un-gooey) 6" Ray.
Yeah, I think AJ was alluding to the fact that the rest of the 2011 figures haven’t been announced yet. I guess this was just the release schedule for the rest of this year and early next year.
What were you expecting? It was bound to be a variant of some kind; they wouldn’t dare release a brand new fig as an exclusive (and ■■■■ off a good portion of their customers that won’t end up getting Club Ecto-1), it’d just be bad business.
Personally, the exclusive looks cool, but it’s not my style so I’ll be passing on this one. I’ll probably get almost everything else though.
I’d even add slimed and unslimed version too. I think the next Pete and Egon are unslimed with different pack ins so we’d have two more slimed versions coming with Winston and Ray…
