Hey guys well like the title says i have a question on shell reinforcement
I have a resin shell and there are a few spots i want to reinforce mainly the area where the screws are place so it doesnt crack in those spots when wearing it due to the possible stress those areas receive.
I was wondering what i should use plain old fiberglass cloth like you can find in autostores or should i use a resin?
Cut some small pieces of wood, coat them in resin and stick them to the pack where you need it. 3/4" works well. When that becomes tacky, dip some glass cloth in resin and blanket the wood for extra strength. When this sets up not only do you have a stronger part of the shell, but you now have something for screws to screw into.
