The Bad news that always sees to nip me in the A$$
Today I ran into a snag, my Paypal debit card number was stolen and some large transactions were made in the Philippines last night/today… Paypal has taken care of the issue (very easy and very professionally I might add) and canceled the card and in theory restored the money, but the money is still in limbo and locked down for one reason or another and I can’t use it yet, until the matter blows over…
So until I get the new debit card or they at least release the money and I can move it into my bank account, I won’t be able to ship the items out… Hopefully it will only be a few days since it’s the start of a business week…
That Fu**ing sucks! I say we track down the jerk and kill him!!! I know how it feels. A few years ago, keep in mind I live in CT, some guy in CA got my amex number and started charging it. Amex caught on real quick though and put a stop on the card before they even talked to me, which was awesome. The guy somehow had made a duplicate amex card and told the stores that he went to that he was my brother. I have never even been to Cali. I don’t know anyone in Cali. I have no brothers, and my family sure as hell doesn’t live in Cali. I say all identiy theft scum bags should be shot. Sorry for the rant, I hope that paypal gets you that new card soon.
That pretty much sucks. At least you got the money back! DId they catch the guy who stole it? Least you’re caught up and won’t have people giving you a hard time over deliveries etc and you can then start to concentrate on other matters (Sound kits!!! lol)
Yeah but the debit card is issued by Chase Bank, and is a MasterCard so it in itself does have the protections and policies associated with those institutions…
Anyway I really don’t have any real details other then what they charged the big one being a plane ticket on a
Filipino airline…
Other then that it should work out fine once I get a new debit card and it all blows over…
Sorry to hear about your PayPal hijacking incident. Glad that they have fixed it so to speak. How are the sound kits coming along and when do you think you might ship those?
ungrateful little yuppy larvae… oh well, at least your headed in the right direction to getting resolution. Should be ordering a set of kits for my crew very soon!
