SIDE DISCS: WHICH ONES??

I have recently purchased two styles of aluminium side discs, both of which are of excellent quality - one set is from the GBFans shop, the other is from Freeky Geeky’s site. Between them they have one principal difference: the size of the countersunk screw in the smaller inner disc is larger on the Freeky Geeky version than that of the GBFans type. I’m having trouble deciding which set to use - I’m inclined to think that the Freeky Geeky discs may be using more screen accurate dimensions? Or were there two versions used between the two movies? I am building a GB1 pack. Opinions would be welcome.

Well. The bolt size is more accurate on the GBFans ones… but the counter sink is more accurate on the FreekyGeeky ones. If you have a countersinking bit, opening up the GBFans counter sink would probably be the best in terms of accuracy.

Hi AJ, thank you for this helpful info, I will give that a go
