Hi All,

Thought I would show you the Slimer costume I have been working on. He is carved out of polyfoam. It will probably be very hot. I still have to add the teeth and the black fabric so you can’t see my face. I also have to finish the arms. I have LEDs behind the eyes so they light up. Let me know what you think

Here is the final costume.

Took 1st place at a radio station party! $500 WooHoo!

It’s kind of cool, they took a photo with a green screen background. The green was pretty close and you can see through Slimer a little.

Better than that store bought one. Good job!

Nice. How heavy is it? Does it have shoulder straps inside?

It’s not heavy, maybe about 5 - 10 pounds. It doesn’t have any straps. It is in two pieces and just sits on your shoulders. See photo.

These pictures look unreal to me. They don’t look photoshopped, they look MSpainted.

AWESOME work, either way. I love seeing a good Slimer.

We took another 1st place! This time at the Motor City Comic Con. After 4 events we have almost made enough to pay for the costumes.

wow congrats to you both on your hard work. Love all the cosplayers, looks fun.

sidenote: why is slimer always played by a woman? I have not seen too many men in the place of the spud.

I would do it but I am a bigger guy. I think if you have smaller arms it looks better.

I’ve been working in the slammer it’s been a challenge getting the colors right still got a airbrush
