Slimer Jack -O-Lantern

Not sure where to post this.. So here looks good.. my Slimer Jack O Lantern! hope you like!

Look great, man! Good work!

Two words, Bad Ass!!!

Indeed it is.

THanks! I just wish it hadn’t rotted away before Halloween Night..

awesome slimer! clean carving skills…at least you took pictures before it went bad…and slimed away

very awesome…do you remember about how long it took you?

I believe it took me about 10 minutes to turn that old pic of slimer into a stencil that would work on a pumpkin. Then another 45 minutes to carve it. thanks again!

First off, SWEET JOB!!!

Second, (for next year should you want to do it again)

Carve up your creation the day of or the day before… If the day before, try this… fill a 5 gallon bucket full of water and place the pumpkin inside. You can also add ice or dry ice to the water to keep the pumpkin from loosing it’s shape to rotting away. Naturally the pumpkin will get warm and start to break down, however if it’s chilled (which is hard to do when you have a candle keeping it warm) it will be likely to retain it’s shape. I prefer a rainbow LED light in the pumpkin because it doesn’t warm the pumpkin at night.

Here is that rainbow light: http://www.zombiepumpkins.com/shop-rainbowlight.php

I did use the same light though, set to green…

I know this response is a little tardy but anyways. Thanks for the advice Dexter, Pretty nifty idea with the rainbow lite. I will be looking for one of those next year! And Joe your pumpkin is nothing short of amazing. I think you chose a good pic to carve up. mwahaha til next Halloween! haha
