i stumbled on this micro fogger just recently. it is a bit pricey but has anyone attempted to use a micro fogger like this inside a trap shell?

Not at that price, no.
I was thinking of just using a small incense container…
I always wondered about modding out some e-cigarettes by rigging a few custom pieces to mount a couple of them with a computer fan or some similar fan. In theory it should work. Then again, Communism works in theory.
[EDIT] Yeah, no. It works. This is with ONE cartridge. Imagine FOUR.
Awesome!
i was thinking the same thing $$$ is way too much money. e cig for mini fog machine is more like it.
i was also thinking, small altoids tin insulated with insense cone inside woud be a great idea.
I use these in mine they are made for checking leaks in HVAC systems:

I use the 45 second/150 cubic feet ones in my gbfans trap kit. It is lined inside with aluminum to prevent fire and has a mount for these. They looks great. Only down fall is they have to be manually lit.
I agree. It looks perfect!
Has anyone tied to make a trap door out of one of the knobs on the trap it self. That way you could unscrew the knob and pull out a holder for the Regin smoke devise. That way it is faster and easier to light the devise and have it held in the trap body.
Here is a good tutorial:
^^ Come on! thats nothing but positive karma!
Don’t look directly into the trap!!!
Wh - Wh-… Why you break all them traps?
I’ve been looking at the Smoke Spray in a Can from Maplins (http://www.maplin.co.uk/smoke-spray-in-a-can-20746) as a cheap alternative.
This sounds like a cool idea - could we have a pic/video of how it looks inside please?
A bit more expensive than hacking an e-cig but hackaday has a post about a woman Fembot cosplay. (http://hackaday.com/2012/10/31/fembot-costume-includes-smoking-nipples/). She used a magician’s pocket smoke box called Pure Smoke that goes for $150. (http://www.ellusionist.com/pure-smoke.html) I was thinking about using one for a trap but I like the idea of a e-cig.
I built an “ashtray” in my trap out of caedboard and aluminum foil, with holes for incents. Worked out not too bad butbi need to do something to protect my trap doors as they getba little hot…
Sent from my SGH-I757M using Ghostbusters Fans on Android
This looks quite promising in quantity of smoke & size of device used to get the job done. Plus probably affordable.
When I was a child, I had a cool locomotive train set. The engine would produce smoke when a special fluid was poured into the smoke stack. It smelled horrid, like diesel fuel, but was cool to see in action. Perhaps a mod of the same principle could be done.
Just a thought, but wouldn’t the use of an e-cig cause nicotine residue to form on the trap?
Not all ecigs have nicotine. Most that I have seen are just water vapor.
