Inspired by the Equipment section which points out the green leg hoses on the video game cover (which may well be a lighting issue):
Couldn’t really get a really bright, vibrant green, at least not with my current efforts. The thread on dying clear leg hoses to yellow helped quite a bit, but clear vinyl tubing is apparently a PITA to dye.
If anyone’s interested in what I did, if they want to replicate it - or better yet, improve on my technique:
First dye was some Kelly Green, in a bucket. Big mistake not going stovetop on it…after about an hour an a half, all I had to show was a very slight tint…of blue. 
So I got a packet of Golden Yellow, and mixed it with some of the Kelly Green for one session on the stove (on a low boil). Still a bit too bluish for me after 30 minutes, I made a new dye bath of the remainder of the Golden Yellow (about half the packet) for about 15 minutes, then added a small amount of more Kelly Green for another 15 minutes.
I did use salt with the stovetop dyes…I didn’t use any dish detergent at first as someone on the leg hose coloring thread specifically mentioned that he didn’t use it. But I did add one squirt in with the final dye bath.
