I am currently trying to build a spacer according to Stefan’s plans. I just have one question: How wide are all the bottom segments supposed to be? I know that Sean’s plans say 1 3/4", but they seem to be slightly less than that according to Stefan’s plans. I’m just not sure just how wide they’re suppossed to be. Sean’s plans say the measurements vary, but Stefan’s plans seem to indicate a uniform measurement.
By the way, I have an engineer’s triangle with measurements up to 1/60th of an inch, so I can do more precise measurments.
Oh, and just to let you know, the primary reason I want to have these measurements isn’t simply so I can have 120% accuracy. I just want it to have a more clean, uniform look.
Edit: By way of clarification, I’m talking about the 14 segments of the spacer itself, not the cosmetic plates that cover them (except, of course, for the bottom segment, which simply has the block attached to it)
