Spirit pack Arduino Coding issue?

I wired my spirit pack with an arduino nano using CountdeMonet’s schematic, found here:

The problem I am having is that the lights will run for 30 seconds or so and then will just stop. As soon as I turn the toggle switch off and then back on it will start running again without an issue. Is there something that I am doing wrong? Is there something in the code that I need to change? Please help, Im going insane…
