I got a request to post some pics of my wife’s Stay Puft costume from this year, so here those are. It was custom made for her by a friend. Yes, the ‘Stay Puft’ lettering on the hat is red instead of white. That is INACCURATE, I said, But it turns out there are those among us who don’t share our excruciating attention to detail. Also, Mr. Stay Puft did not wear glittery eyelashes.
She managed to squeeze her generous assets into the corset top, and made some fantastic arm candy on a cold Chicago halloween.
Turns out it was also the ONLY thing even remotely indicative of what she was supposed to be. Congratulations on her staggeringly lazy costume, next year you should save some time and just write “Stay Puft” on a piece of masking tape and use it as a name tag.
It looks ok but It needs some work you need to had the scarf and what not. not everyone knows mr or in this case ms. stay puft and they looks for key design features for a clue rather than kill themselves guessing
I completely agree with you. The costume was put together by a friend of a friend, and I made a bunch of suggestions that she didn’t go with. She got a lot of ‘nice nurse costume’ that night.

Oye there, mate. Don’t despair… the lads are just being honest… kinda rough on thee edges, I must say. Almost everyone may have something to say that won’t fancy you (from my own experience , this type of website there are ■■■■■■■■ hardballers, and they will be blunt, but to those hardballers, be alittle gentle on your fellow man! Just because it’s not up to par, don’t go diss thee missess! At least be alittle supportive, here…) You indicate you’ve fully aware, by saying “That is inaccurate”, and will make the adjustments, as needed, but if it is just for a “Costume”, nothing GBF official, then enjoy your wife’s display of costuming. Despite the cohort ■■■■■■■, the main thing is you had made some kind of impact, as you did here in this very thread… I give you props for bravely and proudly displaying your sweetheart in her SP cos, you must love her a whole bunch… not even Viggie can break that! :angryvigo:
Thanks, so much. You’re comments are much appreciated. It looks like I seriously underestimated the importance of someone’s wife’s marshmallow mascot costume has on the oline movie-nerd community. Next year, I think it’s gonna be a full-on flight suit for her.
I actually don’t mind the outfit. I would recommend maybe some red or blue lines on the bottom or on the top. I think a sailor tie around the neck would be cute. Take an old shirt and cut the collar off and boom staypuff collar/tie.
