Found this at Kmart last night… 
What does it look like on a person?
it looks okay. there are a few things that you should be aware of.
We bought this as a quick fix for an event since the 8ft inflatable won’t be here in time.
The Head- you’ll need to stuff and let it sit our to get the creases and wrinkles out of it also stay pufts hat needs to be stuffed to keep it looking decent. or even building a new head.
The Body- it’s okay the gloves it comes with are just white costume gloves, I reccommend getting a pair of cartoon gloves for it
The main issue with it is since it was folded up parts of have serious creases IE his blue scarf piece, getting the wrinkles out is a major pain.
Quality wise it’s about the same as the rubies ghostbusters uniform.
Good heads up cowbybill!.. I didn’t expect too much for $40, but just thought it would be something fun. But I’m definitely going to take your advice. 
Maybe in the next day or two I’ll try it on and take pictures “as is”, just so everyone can get an idea of they’re getting right out of the box… If they buy it.
I’m also thinking the body material is pretty thin and being that it’s white, it would probably be good to where white clothes underneath… maybe?
It would be cool to put it on one of those halloween giant moving puppets that people have in their doorways and scare the crap out of kids, oh get one that has red eyes and says spooky stuff. winning all the way

Okay here’s the costume inflated and worn. I opted for the cartoon gloves and I’m still try to get the wrinkles out. You’ll also need white shoes to complete it.
it’s nice and cool inside it but wear a belt, you’ll eed somewhere to clip the battery pack.
Great, now I have the mental image of a naked guy wearing a belt in that costume…

Looks more like the no-ghost ghost than Stay Puft, frankly.
Ya know now that I look at it you’re right it does! I’m going to start trying to build a foam stay puft costmue that looks more like the movie one. this one will probably only see this one event. I really don’t care for the head on it.
I’ve had (no lie) 4 root canals in the past month so working on the foam one just hasn’t been in the cards. We were hoping the the 8ft inflatable woould arrive in time, but no dice, it’s arriving 3 days after we need it.

Sorry to hear about the root canals! Right at the end of last year/beginning of this year I had two. One was a previous root canal that had gone bad and the other was a new one all together. Those suckers aren’t cheap either! :angryvigo:
I think if you colored in some of the eye parts with some white paint to give it the look of black pupils, like the movie, it would look alot better. That may be more trouble than it’s worth though.

Got a 10% discount for being Canadian, which brought the price down to around $89 for the inflatable, and $40 for express shipping. It’ll be in my mailbox this week.
Thats a great deal but we needed him for the 17th of sept. thanks for the info though the costume was a surprising hit, I really did not like the look of it. but the parade spectators loved him.
It’s weird, right? When we displayed our ecto at a convention, we weren’t happy that in our eyes, it wasn’t finished. No-one in the crowd cared. They loved it.

This is what I had in mind for the eyes. The only problem is that the white faded once it dried. Maybe it will stay if I add another couple coats.
That looks MUCH better! Could you just glue some white fabric cut to shape there? Combined with the toon hands, its like night and day over the basic release.
I thought about sewing white fabric into the eyes, but you already can’t see a damn thing out of it. The white fabric would just make it that much worse. I’ll post another pic after I add some more paint.
