I had considered making a TVG pack and wanted to know if anyone out there can attest to its structural integrity. I obviously wouldn’t use aluminum parts (just resin), and I thought that cutting out the areas for the additional lights would be easier on the SC pack.
I ve had a vacuum pack, seems pretty strong, but a heavy resin ion arm might stress the pack and maybe over years it start to crack. Full roaming vapor reinforced with fiber glass. If you reinforced the pack or made your own lighter ion arm out of card stock and got your hands on a vacuum bumper, I don’t think you would ever have problems
Can confirm. I have a studio creations and glassed the inside. I think I did two layers overall and added an extra two in areas that needed extra reinforcement. My biggest concern was hanging the wand, pretty sure it would have been sturdy enough in all other areas but I didn’t want to chance it.
It only took about 20ish dollars and 45 minutes of time (not including curing, but I don’t count that as I didn’t have to do anything but let it sit outside for a day or two). Now it’s extremely sturdy. I would recommend especially if making a game pack as you wand is probably going to get heavy quickly.
