Just (think) I completed my pack after have been working on it on and off for years, constantly adding and removing stuff.
This is made on a foam based body, but the Ion Arm, booster, bumper, shock mount and HGA are all resin, and it also has a real Clippard. The main challenge was to add the lights to this pack, as the foam is firmly glued to the wooden motherboard. To get it to work I drilled holes for the Cyclotron and Power Cell and ran the cables on the backside of the board. Not the best looking solution but perhaps the only option for a pack like this. It just didn’t feel like a proper pack without moving lights. Prior to this the cyclotron was foam all the way through.
Would be cool to see other stunt packs, and what you have done on yours to give them more accuracy!
I like how you did all of this. Even had you gone with static (always on) cyclotron lights, it would have been accurate. I think what’s most amazing, is the fact that you can’t tell it’s foam…
I have one that’s in the works. Rubber coated foam pack and all parts. It’s from nick a tron like 3 years ago, finally Startex putting it together. It has a full working light kit in it as well.
Wow that looks great, didn’t know Nickatron had such parts. I ordered some of my resin parts from him that you see in my pack. Will watch your build closely!
