I’m looking at all the plans in the equipment section (awesome job by the way guys) and I noticed that the width and height of the mother boards are different on the two plans I’m using for reference.
Norm’s plans have 26.5" width x 13 3/4" height
Stephan’s plans 25.896" width by 14.125" height
So my question is, does it really matter or is one slightly more accurate than the next? I only want to cut this once since I have 3 to do.
Stefan’s plans are the most accurate. However, his motherboard design lacks the placement of the strips on the Power Cell. Personally I would always cut out the motherboard after all the body work is done. Then you just trace it and this will give you the best fitment, IMO.
Thanks, Flynn! I wasn’t clear about the strips, but I meant the top and bottom ones. The sides are indeed already incorporated in the design. In fact, I find Stefan’s motherboard dimension slightly too tight, if that makes any sense. I mean on the movie packs, the mobo’s were somewhat larger than the shells.
