Thanks giving parade cut scene #2

I wonder what the original museum cut scenes were.

interesting… There’s so many dark areas in the game, it would’ve been cool to play a level outside during the day IMO

Yeah, busting ghosts in the light of day would have been an ice change of pace. A lot of stuff was done indoors a second street level would have been nice. I wonder how the removal of the level effected the story. Was there another boss perhaps? Another part to the mandala?

DANGER SPOILER INCLUDED

Yeah, I think from the two cutscenes that they trap the parade float. I would have thought it’d just pop though. Maybe they caught the ghost possessing it? But, you know what else they cut from the game? The cut scene of all the escaped ECU ghosts flying towards Central Park while Central Park is shown to be turning into a graveyard and the building you fight the end boss in is rising out of the ground. I think that was a critical scene they could NOT have done without, but did anyway. I never even heard the GB’s talk about the graveyard except once when Ray said that the grave stones did a number on the place when they were pushed up out of the ground. This, maybe a few other things, kind of hurt the story for me. I mean, it feels incomplete and unexplained, although I know what happens from watching the trailer. Sad.

That’s included on the 360 version. Winston is driving Ecto and he says “Ya know, just once I’d like to run away with the rest of these guys” then Peter comments, “Where’s the fun in that?” while a large collection of ghosts are following them, they drive into Central Park Graveyard, some stones pop up, he swerves to miss them, and they park the car. They get out, talk a bit, rookie zaps a tree on accident and it blocks their escape in case they decided they wanted to leave. And the glowing tower is rising as well.

Which version do you have?

Cutscene is same in the PS3 version. I think he’s referring to like a major explosion like from the first movie when the containent unit breaks.

I must have missed this level completely. I didn’t have ANY parade scenes/level at ALL! Was it included on the 360 version? After the dinner party, where Peck gets possessed, is the Graveyard level, correct?

the level was cut from the game, however, this kind of data is sometimes still stored in the final game, but completely inaccessible through normal means.

in other words, don’t worry, you didn’t miss a thing  Think of this as a deleted scene buried deep within the bowels of the software that wasn’t meant to be found.

LOL, thanks. I was beginning to think that I was going crazy.
