The parade cutscenes

You guys made the right call, I know how it is, skanker…

Good to see the cutscenes though.

i think we made the right choice too.

Along with art changes, which helped dramatically with the mood, cutting parade allowed our level designers to further polish the gameplay in all their levels.

Hey, what’s up, Jesse!

Cool to see you here, man. Also nice to hear more tidbits about the Parade level’s scrapping (I remember you told Scully and myself a little about it a while back) but nonetheless awesome to see the video at the top. That is one creepy ghost balloon, lurching up the road making screwed-up noises.

Take care!

So…hurry up and make the next one?

sux that they vut this and wish we had DLC!! soo much DLC for this game would of been really good!!

Tell Atari to give us money.

Make a project website, we’ll pre-buy the copy now.

Thanks for posting that! I love that sort of background info and appreciate what your team did improving the levels. I guess you could look at the zeal for the parade level as evidence that we enjoyed the game so much we’re hungry for more.

Will do. If you have an appropriate contact handy that you can post please do and I will write in. I know some others who will as well. If nothing else it will keep the thought fresh in their mind.

What are the chances of it helping pitching them a sequel on spec?

To be honest, probably not much. Publishers are almost always about the bottom line. While Ghostbusters has made it’s money back, it would have to make sense to them financially and work with their future portfolio if they were to entertain a sequel.

But, for all we know, they might be working on a sequel right now with another company. We worked on the game for a year and a half before we were allowed to say we were working on it. Or hell, maybe even us. I don’t know all the ‘behind closed door talks’ that happen at TRI.

Makes sense, not just publishers focused on the bottom line as of late, that’s for sure.

Is it too late in the pipeline to pitch a smaller DLC expansion? Might cut the overhead quite a bit in releasing a new skin for the game engine (under the guise of new playable levels at a lower price point for higher volume)?

Then again, I’m sure if there’s any focus it’d be on some sort of a tie-in at this point…

In my opinion, the game has been out too long for any DLC to do well. Lifespans of games are very very short.

not to mention when dlc comes out you have “loyal fans” still bitching about it. you’re a good man skankerzero.

My god, what are the odds that this gets announced TODAY after just having posted that…

Does anyone that has xbox live still play. I love this game but it is extreamly hard to find people for multiplayer. My gamer tag is FSBS4087 if anyone is interested.
