Questions regarding the PC Version... *End spoilers*

Well I have played through the game on the PC and I loved it. Just a couple of questions though…

I know that the Parade level was cut, but does anyone know what you would have had to do in it? It’s a shame as I loved those shots of the Ecto speeding through the city…

Along with the dancing scene which I was so looking forward to!

The PC load screen just says ‘Loading’ with the no-ghost logo. No music or renders of the packs etc, though I think the files are actually on the Disc. Is that just the case for the PC version or is mine acting up?

Was the theme re-recorded for the game - or does it just have some kind of echo / reverb added?

Finally, is the reason why the next gen versions of the game had no final cut scene over the credits just because the developers ran out of budget/had issues with Atari? I was a bit disappointed as it ended so abruptly. Especially as all was needed was additional animation for the characters, as I would have thought that all props / sets etc could have been recycled… The Wii version seemed to round things off better in the Firehouse…

The “Dancing” shot, and apparently the shots of Ecto-1B being chased by ghosts through the streets of the city were supposedly just done for the trailers, and were never actually part of the finished game.

No idea why they went with dialogue over the end credits instead of a full cutscene… but it doesn’t neccesarily mean it was because of a possible falling out.

I wasn’t implying a falling out, more a kind of ‘We are gradually going bust so need to make minor cutbacks to save the game’ from Atari’s point of view…

But I’ll guess we shall never know… Well unless down the line someone speaks out.

Next - So what’s the deal with the PC Loading screens?
