Honestly, I feel pretty dumb asking this, but I can’t find a solid answer.
So, what size are the toggle switches on the particle thrower?
I’ve read mini-toggles, super mini-toggles, “regular” toggles-- I’m just not sure what size to buy.

The correct size is micromini.
There’s no such thing as “mini” “super mini” or “regular” toggle switches. There are just different toggle switches of different sizes. Any label like that applied to them is going to be a bit meaningless. As far as I know there’s two sizes that are generally used. Little ones, with 1/4" mounting holes and and big ones that can handle a lot of amps with I think 3/8" mounting holes. And among those, there are different types of lever. long, short, paddle, etc.
These are the ones I selected for my light kits. They have a regular length round lever and a 1/4" mounting hole.

If you look at the dimensions in the datasheet you could use those to find a similar switch at Radio Shack if you don’t want to order online.

I’ve been looking for suitable switches for…a while now. I ordered R2DEVO’s light pack last year, and while the lights themselves are great, the switches and buttons aren’t especially accurate. Finding good replacements has been a real pain. It’s always the little things that give you the most trouble, you know?
They do indeed have sizing for toggle switches. Just google micromini toggle switch. It’s what came with my Jupiter light kit.
The two descriptions I have seen for the size switches we need on the thrower is micro-mini or sub-mini. I just bought a couple from Fry’s the other day actually to get ready for the install of my MIGHTY microcontroler once my aluminum thrower and the sound/light kit gets here.
