Wow. You’re not a ■■■■ at all. A guy makes 2 posts and you’re already on top of that. Do you know a more legitimate place to make a virtual trade for these exact items? There are people out there who might actually benefit from this. If not, why even open the thread, read it and post? Its people like you whom ruin the communication of fans through forums because you have all the time in the world to sift through everyone’s posts and push your elite attitude because the creators of the site asked you to monitor their forums, and you have the same mentality as the guy who became a cop out of high school, and think that only your opinion matters. Please. We are all fans and your remarks make people want to leave the community.
For one, this is rediculous, and two…well it’s just rediculous. Why would you pay for someone to have XBL free for a month, in exchange for a FREE gold in-game proton pack?
A.) Anyone who purchased the game from Wal-Mart (for this very purpose) has probably already used their code (which is ONE TIME USE ONLY!). :angryvigo:

Seriously you people are what’s ridiculous. You contradict yourself in your 1st sentence by stating that the gold proton pack is the exact reason they bought it from Walmart, then you go on to ask why someone would want this. Why is it you guys thrive on acting this way? Many people, obviously yourself included, could care less if they have the gold proton pack and might prefer one month of Live instead. Its a harmless offer, but for some reason, it tears you apart inside. Frankly, I’m glad it does. I probably won’t get any offers but its worth a shot. I’ve been a fan of ghostbusers since 84’ and am kicking myself for getting rid of the toys I had cause I grew out of them. Now that ghostbusters is being marketed again, I get some type of fulfillment by collecting what items I can. There are people on eBay paying money for the codes alone, but I don’t see either of you hunting them down and being verbal a-holes. You stick to your +500 posts and ruin one persons perception of a community he thought he could connect with. I hope you continue to feel accomplishment in your life as you read posts in which you don’t care about and take the time out of your “busy” lives to post on them. I still love the ghostbusters community cause I know not all of them have daddy issues and take it out on irrelevant forum threads helping them fill the gap left by neglect and abuse with their own forms of it. Your not posting on some 11 year old kids offer who just wants something for nothing. I’m sure you’ll love this post and have more to say in a failed attempt to aggravate me, but for everyone benefit and to keep the post from bumping, I wash my hands of your idiocy and arrogance and go back to busting ghosts online without a gold proton pack and less respect for negative members of a great site.

Your responses are completely unreasonable, what Dan wrote is incredibly reserved compared to some comments he has been justified in saying. He is free to comment in feeling that this pursuit for such a silly game exclusive is as equally silly, especially some of the lengths that are being gone to. In addition to that, your response to his and rockstar’s posts, are completely disproportionate and show an extremely poor attitude towards anyone who might say something even remotely negative.
I have to say that I agree with both of them that one month’s free Xbox Live is not worth the price of a gaudy Pack skin. Sure, it’s your money to waste but I’d recommend against it.
Furthermore, if there is anyone in danger of being an “a-hole” in this topic, it certainly isn’t Dan or Rockstar.
If you make another post like the one above concerning “daddy-issues”, then this topic will be locked. This kind of behaviour is unacceptable.
I dont see what the big deal is. Trading Codes is much better then those idiots that went around Scamming the stores for codes. So the guy probaly saw someone on Live or PSN with a golden proton pack and wants to trade for one. Who cares? Some people have major problems. I don’t think you’re grasping the issue here. His response was not justified by the original level of skepticism. It doesn’t matter whether there was a big deal about him wanting a golden Proton Pack, now. He made the issue by responding so over-the-top.
People are trying to sell Gold Pack codes for $50 on eBay. Unreal.
