Trouble with sounds between pack and gun.

Hey folks, I was just about to close up my pack and gun before taking it out tomorrow. And before I did I ran one last sound/light test. and sure enough something is acting oddly.

I’m using the GBfans boards for both the pack and gun sounds and lights. But the pack board isn’t running the overheat effects. The gun is though, the bargraph and lights respond correctly when I’ve been firing too long, but on the pack the light sequence doesn’t speed up and the speaker doesn’t play the warning/vent sounds. I probably just messed up a dipswitch configuration or something…but I’ve double-checked and tried every config that should produce the desired overheat effect. I’m sure I’m overlooking something simple, anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!

All it can be is the switch config. That’s it.

Yea, I that’s what I figured, that’s why I’m goin nuts here scratching my head.

So.

On the wand lights board I have 2 and 3 set to on for movie wand w/overheat, and 5 on for brightest vent light.

On the pack board I have 3 and 5 on for movie sounds, then 6 on for the hum.

No clue, maybe my board got whacked or something and has a concussion. It was working fine earlier tonight. yeesh.

Unfortunately movie sounds does not have an over heat sequence because that’s not accurate to the movie. Have to switch it to tvg setup on the sound board.

Switches 3 and 5 need to be set to off, and your choice of humm switch. Gun lights board sounds right the way you have it.

Sheesh, I even knew that, I must’ve flicked one accidentally. Then psyched myself out and started changing things and getting loopy, ah well. Thanks for helping the newbie man, all is well.

No worries
