I use weathering is a hard subject on this site It seems allot of guys don’t care for the heavily weathered packs? 
Mine matched up pretty well. I had to do some sanding on the shell and a bit of trimming on the mobo, but I’m OCD like that. I detailed it in my build in my signature. When I ordered mine from AJ it was about a week before it shipped out and then regular shipping times to Canada.
I have one of Vin’s aluminum throwers on order and I can’t wait! And all his aluminum pack parts too!

There are too many to mention but some of my favourites build threads are Throwing chicken, Pchrisbosh1, Burkit, Noslits trap build and of coarse Bigi71… who has disappeared with all his images the swine! Bigi71 was the main initial creator to to the gbfans shell before Vince overhauled it for accuracy corrections.
There is simply some outstanding high quality build threads on this site and so many techniques to cover hero’s through to vac form shells. Really these days, no matter where you look you are spoilt for choice on high quality builds and good friends.
In therms of throwers… Rj is working on a pop mech for his guns and I think he even made the fago method for a customer recently…

I’m amazed with all the 3d printing going on that no one has made tip extension kits?! It’s times like this I wish I had a 3d printer and the knowledge to use it
I’m probably going to place my shell and mother board order with in the next 2 weeks, I had alittle surgery ( reason why I could post all day during the week lol I usually put 55-60 hours a week in) so to make a long story short I need ( should!) pay off this little medical bill first! Then!!! I’m placing orders!! And can’t wait!

Favor it and losing him this year was losing a piece of GB history… Since I’ll probably never have another chance at building a pack for a long time I figure dedicate this one to him…
Still learning the differences of who a from the others, seems like alittle changes but not too overwhelming,
You know the Spengler box you have at the bottom of ur pack? That was in the movie as well? Was it only egons pack or did the others have it as well?

I’m fairly sure Vince’s thrower or every other metal seller throwers front handles rotate. it’s just 2 telescoping bits of metal held in place with a screw hidden under the grip, the inner tube has a channel cut allowing the outer tube to turn.
All the hero packs from what I have seen had the “spengler box” or switchcraft bracket, there were some differences between a few of the versions but overall they are much the same. Some sellers make them or you can just mock one up with the right metal. I use mine for all my charging ports and power switch for the pack.

As far as the acrylic extension … it’s just as easy to make your own custom one that fit’s the thrower you decide to go with.
They all differ slightly so possibly designing a mech to fit them all might be tricky…
I’m glad I made mine for the simple reason I know I can repair it if it breaks 
…
